Generate alpha over benchmarks using purely quantitative methods, despite limited forward-looking data.
Approach
Built a composite scoring model to rank mutual funds within categories. Derived factor weights using regression, optimizing for Spearman IC while targeting benchmark outperformance.

Context
Relationship managers struggled to identify customers for initiating investment conversations.
Challenge
Leverage behavioral, external, and demographic data to identify look-alike customers of existing investors and enable targeted outreach.
Approach
Built a look-alike model using LightGBM, optimized for recall. Identified and prioritized the top 5% of customers for frontline activation.
Outcome
+300 Cr AUM from the campaign.
